In this sector safety is of major importance and the requirement for fabrics with low flammability and smoke emission is mandatory. Over the years we have built a competence for solving problems for our customers meeting tough technical requirements.
Due to our high technical skills and short delivery time Gudbrandsdalens is now among the 4-5 largest producers of wool based upholstery fabrics for ships, including both standard and special designs.
For deliveries to trains the requirements are even more demanding and we are one of very few suppliers who are capable of developing fabrics that meet the strictest requirements. Through a close cooperation with seating manufacturers we have the possibility to develop solutions that meet the most extreme requirements for flame retardency without compromising on requirements for low smoke and gas emissions.
