Production capabilities
Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik AS is the only vertically integrated manufacturer of furniture textiles in Scandinavia. With all production processes in-house, from dyeing of fibres, spinning of yarn, weaving and various finishing processes, we are able to enhance the texture and tactile properties of the fabrics leading to unique modern designs. We also produce classic high quality fabrics used in traditional Norwegian national costumes.

After 120 years of experience, we have exceptional in-house technical, production and design competence to achieve:
- the desired effect in the fabric
- high resistance to abrasion and durability (more than 50 000 rubs on Martindale)
- flame resistance up to BS 5852:1990 (Crib7)
- low smoke emission textiles
- machine washable wool fabrics
- anti-bacterial fabrics
