9910 Klassisk ulldamask
This large-patterned wool / mohair damask was prepared by Johanna Nädele Ljungkvist for Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik in collaboration with the Norwegian Institute for Bunad and Folk Costume. Quality, pattern and shine are inspired by a wedding dress, which is preserved at Maihaugen in Lillehammer. The wedding dress is probably from the period 1750-1850. The Norwegian Institute for Bunad and Folk Costume states that the pattern can be recommended for use in the reconstruction of clothing from this time period.
