Archive 3 has its origins in Kvalitet 220 – an upholstery fabric that we produced in 1953. The German designer Christiane Müller found a fabric sample during a treasure hunt in an archive in the attic of one of GU's old buildings. The fabric was then reconstructed as a durable furniture fabric and modernized in color and structure.
