Train Interior Textiles
We develop and tailor textiles for trains, adapted to function, durability and design.
Technical performance for demanding environments
Our textiles are developed specifically for trains and meet strict requirements for fire safety, durability and longevity, properties that are essential in a demanding transport environment. Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik has supplied textiles to public transport for generations, building solid experience from projects both nationally and internationally. Our textiles combine technical precision with lasting aesthetic quality, developed for modern train interiors.
Norwegian craftsmanship, tailored for train interiors
Through precise weaving and solid Norwegian craftsmanship, we work to find the right balance between technical performance and aesthetic quality. With long experience in developing textiles for demanding environments, we combine traditional craft techniques with modern technology to ensure high durability, safety and lasting expression. The starting point is always a holistic approach, where visual identity and interior design work together with requirements for function and performance.
The natural properties of wool
Wool is one of nature's most advanced materials, naturally flame resistant, durable and comfortable to sit on. It provides a comfortable and robust surface that withstands daily use, while contributing to a good indoor climate through the regulation of temperature and moisture. In addition, wool has excellent sound-absorbing properties and performs very well under the tough operating conditions that characterise public transport.
